Correspondence Courses

We are now able to offer a distance learning alternative through our website. All our modules are available in a correspondence course which you can register for by completing the application form below.

We are offering:

  • An opportunity to study in your home using the internet to access the student notes and 10 hour audio presentations that accompany each module.
  • A personal mentor whom you can communicate with by email up to once a week.
  • A Certificate for each module completed and a Diploma when the course is completed (30 modules)

You'll require:

  • Access to a computer and a good internet connection to download the audios.
  • Sufficient fees to cover the basic cost of the course.

A Diploma will be presented by School of Ministries when 30 modules with their accompanying assignments have been completed.

There will be a core curriculum of 18 subjects which includes:

Leadership Part 1 – Discovering your ministry
Leadership Part 2 – The Character of the Leader
Leadership Part 3 – Leadership of Small Groups
Leadership Part 4 – Keys to Effective Leadership
Hermeneutics – How to study the Bible
Homiletics – How to present and communicate the Bible

Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Prayer and Intercession
Discovering the Will of God
Christian Foundations
Church Planting

Bible Survey Part 1 – the Old Testament
Bible Survey Part 2 – The Gospels and Revelation
Bible Survey Part 3 – The Epistles and Acts
Theology Part 1 – The Nature of God
Theology Part 2 – The Person and Work of Christ
Theology Part 3 – The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit

The student can then choose any 12 of the remaining subjects to complete the full curriculum.

Each module includes an assignment which must be completed and sent via email to the Administrator of the school for marking.

All the courses are in the English language. We are unable to offer courses in other languages at this time.

There will be a charge of £20 per module to include all notes, audio downloads, access to mentor, marking of assignments and the production of certificates and diplomas.

For those from the Developing World the same facility is available at a cost of £10 per module.

As an indication of the seriousness of those signing up for this course it will be expected that a registration fee of £100 students and £50 for Developing World students will be paid at the beginning of the course. This will cover the cost for the first 5 modules.

It is intended that a bursary fund will be established to help pay the fees of those who are unable to cover the costs themselves. However there will be strict and clear guidelines which must be complied with for those who wish to use this facility.
