Director

Peter butt Peter Butt - Director

Peter Butt trained in the Assemblies of God Bible College. He is part of the leadership team at New Community and initiated the School of Ministries leadership training programme. He travels widely with training leaders as well as overseeing a number of churches.


Support Team

Philip Raw Philip Raw

Philip runs his own business as a Chartered Surveyor & Building Engineer and is a non Executive Director of a UK housing association. He is part of the Prism Prophetic team based in Southampton UK. He recently relinquished his senior church leadership responsibilities to spend more time in developing other ministries.


Allan Cox Allan Cox

Allan facilitates the very broad overseas involvement of New Community Church, Southampton where he also leads the Eastleigh congregation with his wife Lizzie and represents Churches Together in Eastleigh on the Eastleigh Strategic Partnership. He also mentors/coaches a number of church leaders, and has many years experience in pasturing & counselling.


Andy and Kay Gill Andy and Kay Gill

Andrew Gill is the leader of Lee Community Church, He is a gifted teacher with a vision to release the next generation into ministry. He also owns and runs the Bluebird Cafe along Lee seafront, where between pastoral appointments he can be found serving cups of tea! He is married to Kay, also serving on school of ministries, and has four children Ross, Frances, Amy and Samuel all of whom serve with him in the church.


Tom and Shelly Frame Tom and Shelly Frame

Tom and Shelly originally from South Africa are now running a successful business in the South of England. They are members of New Community Church, Southampton with a passion to see the release of finance into the Kingdom of God" They are the proud parents of 3 children.


Ben-Davies Ben Davies

Ben Davies worked as a pastor for 8 years before joining the S.O.M. team. He's a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and holds an MA from Fuller Seminary's School of World Mission, in the U.S. He and wife Lisa live in the New Forest area with their two daughters.


Jo Musgrove Jo Musgrove

Jo has been involved in missions in several countries and recently spent a time in Uganda where she organised and adminstrated the School of Ministries. She has also taught on several schools and been involved in ministry in the USA. She is part of New Community Church, Southampton.


Graham Bower Graham Bower

Graham Bower has been in church leadership for many years and currently leads James Street Church in Southampton. He has been involved in the teaching and training of leaders in a number of places and is part of the SOM team working to develop the use of SOM courses around the world.


Peter Robinson Peter Robinson

Peter is married with three children. He and his wife Olga have been members of Southend Christian Fellowship for 25yrs. Peter, who is now retired, was both a professional chemical engineer and manager and spent most of his working life in the car industry in a variety of engineering and managerial positions.

Peter has been involved in a wide variety of leadership roles , including a number of years as senior leader of the Fellowship. As a result he has gained experience in many areas of ministry. In addition to his responsibilities in the local church in Southend Peter has also travelled to Albania, Russia and Uganda, training church leaders.


Irene Butt Irene Butt

Irene Butt is married to Peter and has been part of the vivion of School of Ministries since its inception. As well as teaching on the programme she carries responsibility for a Healing Prayer Clinic which is seeing people experience breakthroughs in physical, spiritual and emotional areas. She is the mother of 4 children and grandmother to 7 grandchildren. She travels widely with Peter in ministry.


Basil D'souza Basil D'souza

Basil D’Souza is the Senior Pastor of Covenant Blessings Church (CBC). He resides in Thane, India with his wife Cathy and their children Liz and Jeremy. He ministers extensively in India, as well as in UK and the US. Basil founded Jeevan Asha Charitable Society in 1999 providing care and education for underprivileged children. Basil is also the Founder Chairman of International Leadership Connections (ILC). ILC hosts conferences and ‘School of Ministries’ (SoM) nation-wide where leaders and pastors are trained and equipped.


Teaching Team

Phil Orchard Phil Orchard

Phil Orchard graduated from Southampton University and taught in secondary education. For a number of years he has been greatly used in several training initiatives. Phil is part of the leadership team at New Community.


Jean Brand Jean Brand

Jean Brand has considerable depth and breadth of Bible knowledge and a real passion and gift for communicating it to others. She studied Theology at London Bible College, and later Counselling in the USA. She has worked in Bible training and counselling for over thirty years.


Peter Butt, Phil Orchard and Jean Brand have compiled the majority of the modules supplemented by: Allan Cox, Peter Stott, Tony Morton, Tony Rozee and Lynn Swart and others within the New Community Network.
