The School of Ministries was held in the Elim Pentecostal Church (Buza). There were 41 Key Church leaders who came from 18 different denominations along with 15 women who head Churches.  The leaders that attended this second school testified of how the first one helped them and impacted them in their ministries.

2011 School:   Was well attended, and most of the leaders have never gone to any Bible School.  Some of the presented denominations are newly started.

My Personal Observations: Dar-es-salaam is highly densely populated with Islamic religion. Churches hardly support their Pastors. Pastors need to be encouraged by: The School of Ministry, Women In Ministry Programme (train women leaders for the work in TZ), Pastors/Leaders Fellowship and Pastors financial support – this could help those newly Church planters who are planting Churches in this poor and highly Islamic populated communities.

Way Forward 2011/2012.  We agreed with the Tanzania leaders that we will have 2011 SOM Class in May next year. A missionary journey to visit Tanga, Pemba, Zanzibar to see whether we can touch the lives of people and see if there be any possibility of planting the seed of the Word of God to the people.

Prayer Requests. The School of Ministry to continue in Tanzania and God to raise sponsors who will sponsor the SOM Class in Tanzania.  At least £250 (Ksh. 30,000/=) is needed per school. God to raise a missionary who will be based in Dar-es-salaam; to develop and work closely with the Tanzania leadership.

There was a Prophetic Word in 1996. We were having a Pastors’ Conference when the Spirit of the Lord came upon His servant, Clive Beckenham and spoke that He has given Barnabas Ministries Africa from the Horn of Africa to Zanzibar. Day by day God is accomplishing this prophetic word, and as of now we have touched these countries in different ways: One of thoese ways is by equipping leaders through the SOM Class and leadership seminars.
