Ruiru School of Ministries was held at PEFA Ruiru Centre from 30th Nov – 2nd Dec 2016. It brought together 29 pastors and church leaders from nine different denominations for training in Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit as well as the module on New Testament Bible Survey.

A few of our leaders missed a day because of exams going on in their different campuses. We enjoyed being taught by our very able teachers Jeremy Sisley and his wife Julie from Eastleigh UK. The schools were well balanced – one involving very practical living that learners could identify with and the other more weighty, full of historical information requiring high concentration. The delegates did well in keeping alert, engaging the teacher with questions and participating in group work.

During breaks there was time for one on one fellowship and unwinding.  More time to cover the teachings on the gifts of the Holy Spirit would have been helpful. They particularly appreciated the practical aspect of prayerfully listening to the Holy Spirit to give them a message or prophetic word for somebody and relaying it to the person. By the time, we finished the school, the delegates earnestly desired to be used by the Holy Spirit.

We appreciate all our teachers and sponsors for helping equip men and women of God for works of service. May God richly bless you.
