We arrived safely in Uganda for the conference for our leadership contacts from this continent. Chris Scott and Chris Kapnisis from Woodford joined us for the conference the title of which was; "Leaders together for the Community".

Approx. 60 key leaders from Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Congo and the UK gathered for this annual event. The worship, teaching and prophetic input were of an excellent standard. We were challenged by the guys from Woodford as they shared the story of their church and its work into the community, Simeon Kayiwa inspired us with stories of miracles and visits to heaven!, Cliff Mthembu ministered on vision and Peter shared on Leadership Keys. Irene was involved in prophetic ministry and Jo Musgrove did a brilliant job in running the whole thing with the Connect Africa Team.

There is a growing sense of commitment and fellowship between these leaders and a real sense of joining with us. We have an increasing number of requests for School of Ministries both within Uganda and further afield.

We sensed the prayer support for this conference. It is the rainy season here and was pouring with rain on Monday. It stopped on Tuesday and did not rain again until Friday the day after the conference. Apparently this is a remarkable thing in the rainy season to have 3 complete days without rain.
