We were well received and cared for by Immanuel, who ate with us most evenings. The School was efficiently organized and many of the students stayed on campus. We stayed in the Hotel Gretton, which was OK, though working out how to use the shower took brains, initiative and ingenuity!
Again the group was about 60 in size. Very few of the students understood English and so translation was essential (and done well). The group was very receptive and lively and we had some good discussions and did some productive group work. Again, issues were raised arising from the culture, e.g. the local tradition is that women, especially young women, look down when talking to a man as a mark of respect. Some of those present did not like the tradition! I said that it was not up to me to pronounce on the issue but that people need to make sure that they have valid reasons for behavior patterns.
