This is an introductory counselling course to lay basic foundations for this important matter. It will lay the base for a fuller counselling course for those wishing to pursue this subject further.
Pastoral Counselling Part 2 - Helping People
This course is designed for those in pastoral care. Building on the foundation of care and relationship, it introduces a basic understanding of how problems develop and are maintained. We then consider the process of change through involving, discipling and empowering people.
Common Issues
This course is designed for this seeking to understand the five most common problem areas that we face: Marriage, Finances, Bereavement, Abuse and Depression. We will apply biblical principles that bring healing and resolution.
Contemporary Issues
How should Christians think about family values, financial morality, ecology, abortion, politics or war? The course considers such issues and how we can make a reasoned biblical response.
